Hospitals use HRT's KVM over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) extension and KVM Switches for Monitoring

St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville is utilizing Hall Research's Dual-Video Head Keyboard/Video/Mouse Extension systems to keep their monitoring computers in a secure and environmentally controlled room down the hall from the main nurse's monitoring station (see Models U97-A, U97-H2, & 4-to-1KM) . The system also extends the PC's audio (used for alarm conditions), and USB strip-chart recorder.

The monitoring room can accommodate up to 10 stations each having 4 displays (3 screens of real-time data, plus a 4th for data entry), plus a single keyboard and mouse. HRT's USB over Cat5 extension provides  connection to chart-recorders for printing real time waveforms.
